Just posted my 10th post so I thought I'd introduce myself.
Long time lurker on this site. Came of age during Watergate voted the first time in 72.

Last Republican I voted for was Jerry Ford. Straight D ever since. But have to admit I did like Jon Huntsman.

I feel the tide is turning against the repugs in my neck of the woods (PNW). Even the diehards at work are starting to admit their man mr t is a disaster.

We are a similar vintage and I'm in the PNW as well (Ashland, OR). Grew up in San Francisco with very Republican parents and saw the light as a young adult.

Jon Huntsman seems to be a sensible guy, so he was a no-go for the GOP.

Let's make it happen in 2020!

We went blue in all federal elections but one this time around. We here in Nevada have a good bit of experience with the sovereign citizen type whacko independents and accordingly we have a pretty low tolerance for tea party revanchists and monkey-wrenchers masquerading as conservatives. Sharron 'pay your doctor with chickens' Angle couldn't get elected here even in the Tea Party's hayday. The remaining Gump supporters here are what I call the 'I've got mine and f*ck you' caucus and are mostly limited to the exclusive enclaves around the city. Even they couldnt re-elect Joe Heck as their rep in Henderson, one of those enclave communities.

Anyway, good to hear of progress in the NW...

16. The deplorables I know seem pretty defeated. They are still hanging on though. I'm gonna see

what they think about this no wall deal. I know one guy who never voted before but got out to vote for rump over this stupid wall. And this guy is smart - he's not a dummy...but he is when it comes to this. I tell him your racism is blinding your reason...you sound like a fool, yoor poor parents.
