I am female. I am an American. I am not a Vaginal American. I don't particularly think vaginas are "awesome" anymore than I think penises are "awesome". It's anatomy. Yes, the human body is amazing, blah, blah, blah, but c'mon, this is getting silly and close to offensive, at least to me. I know it's meant as support for women's rights and in particular our rights to make our own reproductive choices, but this cutesy stuff and reducing women to sexual organs is absurd.

There's obviously a difference of opinion between people on this. I just think that frivolity, scorn and sarcasm has its place too in the fight against these slut-shaming, women controlling, right wing motherfuckers.

I'm no stick in the mud and if women feel that they want to be free to express how awesome their vaginas are, I'm all for it. I'm almost tempted to post a some vids from the Vagina Monologues in this thread…
