and lists her as an author and activist. Among her followers are Chelsea Clinton, Ted Lieu, and David Corn. Most of us are pretty aware of Dem activists, but I've never heard of her until this afternoon. Long haul in name recognition, I'd bet.

. .after listening to her interview with Thom Hartmann, I welcome Marianne Williamson to the debate. I thought she masterfully articulated a perspective that’s urgently needed if the goal is to survive as a species.

Author of entirely too many new-agey feel-good religious books. She sort of sunk into oblivion over the years, so it seems like now she'd like to try her hand at the political game. Everybody else seems to be doing it these days, so why not. Probably some money to be made there if she plays her cards right.

back in the late 80's. Several friends recommended her book A Course in Miracles while I was going through my divorce. Like others I did not know that she was a Democrat.

candidate for president without at least having some experience in government - you know, like becoming a candidate for congress or senate (or god forbid even a council person) first?
