Starbucks Corp. CEO Kevin Johnson made 1,049 times more than the Seattle-based company's median employee, according to a proxy disclosure filed Friday.
It's the first time Starbucks has disclosed its pay gap since the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act required public companies to do so.
Johnson's nearly $13.4 million total compensation last year included a $1,461,533 salary, nearly $6.7 million in stock awards, an additional $4.2 million in stock options, a $960,000 annual incentive bonus and $67,000 in other compensation including retirement contributions, life insurance and home security services and equipment.
Starbucks' median employee, which the company said is a part-time barista in California, made $12,754 in total compensation last year.

He is unfit. Period.
