Trump's loss-win will be declaring a National Emergency.

It is the only way he can save face. He will do it, Democrats will sue, he will lose (there is precedent), then he will blame "Liberal Judges".

It will become a campaign talking point and rally call.

It's the only play he has left.

emergency, other than the one manufactured in rump's brainpan. Nonsense, and won't fly, and abuses the powers of the president in a very major way. It'll highlight very clearly the major failings of the rump administration in that they couldn't even build the wall while controlling ALL branches of government (Senate, House and rump). Lawsuits galore will follow and Congress (at least it should) will have a fit in that it was bypassed by rump and his stupid, unwanted by the vast majority of Americans, wall.

If he loses them, he's over and he knows it.

He doesn't care what anyone else thinks.

Because his base isn’t big enough to win without strong independent support.

It’s a no-win situation for him.
