What would the United States of Starbucks look like?

Howard Schultz is receiving a lot of free publicity, and the publicity will undoubtedly boos the Starbucks brand, and Schultz's portfolio.

But based on how he ran Starbucks, what would the US of Starbucks look like?

Well, we would be part time workers, averaging about $11/per hour and 20-35 hours a week.

So we would make between $11,000 and $19,250 a year. Perhaps a living wage in third world companies, but not in the US unless we all live with our parents.

Schultz himself has a net worth of over 3.1 billion dollars. So we have a man who made billions in part by underpaying his workers.

And Starbucks is similar to WalMArt in that it pulls money out of the local economy.

Sorry Mr. Billionaire. Your only real concern is keeping your own taxes low.
