Smart Leadership

I'm pretty impressed with the committee assignments afforded many of the House freshman class. They're not getting back bench assignment. These are the auditions for positions of real leadership. Party leadership is being very smart with these assignments, bringing in the next generation.

Madam BadAss Speaker does nothing but strengthen her leadership while at the same time nurture her replacement.

Smart Leadership.

and this is one thing I held against previous Democratic leadership. Too much "establishment", and no grooming of eventual replacements. I think this is one thing that gave most people some reservations about having Nancy Pelosi be Speaker again.

I'm really happy that turned out out to be a wrong assumption. Pelosi is not only kicking the pussygrabber's ass, it looks like she's getting the next front-line ready to keep kicking republicon ass.
