they have done to this country and what they have lined up. American ignorance is more dangerous than David and Charles Koch. Not getting involved in the political process, willfully ignorant on the issues. What will it take to get these people angry for the right reasons or getting angry at all?

1. JRLeft, anger by itself does nothing

A martial arts philosopher once said "Society allows you to rebel, but beware trying to question."

For my money, I figure that the way to fix things in this country goes something like this:
1.) more local alternative power (saves local folks a ton of cash, and "defunds" the right wing money system)
2.) more local foods (as above)
3.) As the FCC just cleared up a lot of bandwidth for low power AM/FM community stations, I say we ought to take them up on it. Get the message out!

If you really want to start toasting toes... then set up a gift/barter/alt-currency system.

If the Plutocracy has a money burn rate anywhere near that of the old Bear-Sterns, then I give them about 5 years of life, after implementation of a linked set of local currencies.

Also, local Alt currencies (if well designed) can provide a certain amount of adaptability to the community.

There are so many sources on the net, I wouldn't know where to point you. I've been setting up a gaming array, to test this out. (I'm getting paid in Pizza and Beer... I really need to start jogging.) A good starting book is "The Book Of Visions" edited by Nicholas Albery.
