John Boehner needs to come out and ask Todd Akin to resign from his current U.S. House seat.

... but Akin is not on the ballot for the House seat.

He decided not to run for the House only the Senate.

If Akin were to resign from The House now, they would probably just leave the seat vacant until the November election.
Congress won't be in session too much more this year.
