What can we expect when the crippled gop get 4 more years of Barack Obama?

I've been wrong, several times, but I'm betting $10,000 that there's no way romney/ryan/akin can win now that the rock has been overturned and the ugly side of the gop has been so glaringly exposed, (Thank you Lord)!, I'm beginning to think the only way the assholes can win is the old tried and true republican way, CHEATING.

I think we're seeing the total implosion, the titanic sinking of the republican party, they've been eaten alive from within, and it's all their own damn fault, no one else to blame, not even Obama.

It's a gift from the Democratic God! Maybe todd akin's big mouth has turned things around completely toward our side by revealing the horror of a romney/ryan/rape/akin run nation.

I know I'm not supposed to count the chickens, or votes yet, but if the election were held next week............?

That is dreaming big too! My God, can you imagine such a world-a world where in the US the Dems and the Greens were both fighting for the progressive votes and the Republicans were a distant fourth party tucked way behind the Independents.

We fight ancient foes but someday, hopefully before this planet is too ravaged, we will defeat greed, fear and ignorance.

Perhaps history lends credence to what you say. After we left Viet Nam, the new government forced many tens of thousands of 'South Vietnamese' into re-education camps.

In my heart I hope for the peaceful transition but......

Considering the likelihood of misguided 'patriotism', considering the fear consumed from the propagandists and considering how well armed many within our electorate are, the transition could indeed get nightmarish.

Otoh I just can't see American citizens, even the wingnut, strapping on vests of dynamite and heading off to our churches and malls in order to take back their country.

......so I just don't know how our future will play out. That notion-that fantasy if you will, the one where Republicans had very little to say in American affairs, that put a smile on my face and made me feel all warm and fuzzy. WE KNOW the difference between right and wrong, THAT vision is the right one.

Let them meet actual resistance, and they quickly fold.

As an example, I often use this script:

They might stick with an impeach Holder show trial. But I think they will go balls to the wall with impeachment.

Of course this means they hold the house. If they do, we might have more luck getting it back in 2014. Gawd, as the years tick by I can't belive the American people are so stupid as to elect these assholes.

If we win the house and hold it in 2014 we might get something done. Otherwise we are screwed.

If Obama gets re-elected, they will really be miserable. They've done everything they can to smear the President and his family, and none of it is true. (Not that lying would slow them down.)

A gun nut at the post office the other day told me they were gonna have a revolt in January. This of course is rumor, not fact. The only thing I could think of that would set off a revolt would be Obama's second inauguration. This idiot told me those poor people in the big city (who do not have cars or gas money, btw) were gonna come to the country and take our stuff away.

Obstruction, witch hunts, economy stagnant.

It may actually hurt more to have him win than lose at this point because we're not getting the house back and still may lose the senate.

I just don't trust the Republicans to do the right thing if they get back into power. These teabaggers are serious about destroying the country whereas the neo- cons just paid lip service to it and spent like crazy. I made great money under Bush because he spent money on construction projects, something they will not allow Obama to do. Normally I would expect them to do all things they wouldn't let him do so they can claim savior status. But not this crop of nuts. They're hell bent on destruction.
