Remember when the US Computer Emergency Readiness Team admitted that the Diebold GEMS central tabulator used in 37 states in 2004 had “an undocumented backdoor account, which could [allow] a local or remote authenticated user [to] modify votes”?

We can see paper. Paper allows voters to confirm their ballot, and allows the public to validate the election.
