Has anyone thought the reason the Repubs don't want to go after Trump is

because they want to pack the courts first since they think they may not have power again for a long time. They are packing the courts and blocking legislation making voting easier. This is a planned thing, they have planned to use this wacko to make doing these things easier. They are praying RBG dies in the next 2 years as well. They are going to overturn Roe V Wade, just watch.

Many of them also took large amounts of NRA/Russian money, and what goes for Trump goes for them.

because the Republican voters support him. If they go against him they will be primaried and lose their seat.
Of course they have a bigger chance of losing the general if they support Trump.

doesn't go after Trump is because 80% or more of the GOP base love the guy and they are afraid of being held accountable by his base if they were to challenge him.

He’s doing what they have been trying to do for decades. There’s no reason for them to go after him.

There's no reason to go after him at all, they just don't like how open he is about their agenda. As for packing the courts, that's for Democrats to do. Refusing to confirm dozens of open circuit court seats for years of Obama's administration, stealing his Supreme court pick and removing the 60 vote threshold for confirmation of a new Justice, MUST be answered. I think the best answer is to pack the courts once Dems have regained the Senate and the Presidency in order to nullify any advantage these tactics got them. If we don't pack the courts then their strategy worked flawlessly and they have every reason to do it again. We will have taught them that there are no consequences and McTurtle will keep on smirking.
