Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI was part of a discussion on DU about whether Romney's tax issue would fly
with the American people a few weeks ago. Way back then, there was an argument that it was "too complicated" and that "people wouldn't care".
My argument was essentially this: We'll know it has reached saturation when the late night comedians use it in their stand up routine and the audience "gets it". And I particularly cited Jay Leno and David Letterman because they are on "free" TV and their audience has an older segment.
