Supposedly, the feds grabbed several terabytes worth of data from Stone...from laptops, the cloud, cell phones, etc.
Prosecutors asked the judge to waive the customary "right to a speedy trial" rules and Stone's attorneys agreed with that.
Judge said OK.
O'Donnell's guest said that Stone could be in a holding pattern for about 6 months, then the trial.
So Whitaker was full of it, Mueller's not wrapping up any time soon.
Also said that Trump will be hammered in all different directions during his 2020 re-election campaign. Dems will be on the campaign trail addressing a corrupt president in the White House and Trump can't distract from it because there will be so many frigging trials in the news cycle,

(54,770 posts)So Mueller takes another 6 months, year or two -- we still have trump as Prez.
Mueller needs to release whatever he has and let the House run with it to get rid of trump as soon as possible. If he doesn't have the goods, then we need to quit wasting our time hoping Mueller relieves us of this nightmare.

(15,290 posts)shows yesterday that Stone's prosecution will be handled/headed by the DC US Atty's office, not Mueller. Can't recall if it's all of the case or not, though.
