Trump lives by his "ratings". Refusing to watch or listen to his SOTU as he gives it

is one small way in which I can help deprive him of the ego boost he gets from "winning" the TV ratings war. I will tune in to the response and I will inform myself as to the substance of Trump's remarks---if there is any.

My "click", by itself, just like my vote, by itself, will change nothing. But, if we all click off the SOTU next Tuesday, we will be heard.

I switch channels or turn the psychopath off. I would tune in to hear him resign, but only if they can prove he's not just lying about resigning.

The Nielsen ratings are done by a small sample of households who keep a written journal of what they watch.

Basically, he's hinted - passive aggressively - that he may invoke a National Emergency at the SOTU. She should simply preempt the possibility of that happening. If he wants to go fling himself to Mar a Lago and give it there, well so be it. He could deliver at Trump Tower in New York (if New Yorkers even let him into the city nowadays). Maybe he should go to Moscow. I don't care. Just don't let him have the podium in the well of the U.S. House. That's OUR house, and Madame Pelosi presides there as its Leader.
