To those holding fast to "Gov. Northam should stay in office", consider this...

This is an Election year for the Virginia House of Delegates. Republicans hold the majority by one vote. There's an opportunity to take control of the chamber.

But what happens if African-American Democratic voting is depressed by Northam staying in office? What if Democratic Legislators are asked to vote on a Republican resolution to Impeach him?

Politics involves both implementing policy and protecting your Party's status. Northam is failing on both counts.

if they have done absolutely nothing wrong. A mob rush to judgment does not legitimize the removal of an innocent Democratic Governor from office.

He came across as a decent person to me in the press conference, as long as he was telling the truth about not being in that picture in the yearbook.

of their flying monkeys steps on her/his tie, "it happened before he was in office, there's nothing we can do about it." So, I doubt they'll impeach him. If he's still in office at the time of the next election, the flying monkeys will use him to smear all Dems in VA.
