Trump put razor wire on border fence -- Arizona town just voted unanimously to tear it down

Opposition to President Donald Trump’s border fortification continues to grow.

Trump pledged to build a cement wall during the 2016 campaign, but Mexico refused to fund the expensive project as he had pledged. He then sought money from Congress, but Capitol Hill refused to fund either a concrete wall or steel-slat border fence.

Trump, however, has defiantly continued to push for fortifications and has sent 3,700 troops to the border to increase fortifications.

Nogales, Arizona was outraged after troops installed razor wire, also known as concertina wire, along the existing border wall in their community.

13. Here is the logic that is never discussed in all of these border town.

Extended families are on both sides of the border in almost everyone of these locations.

So the gov't and law enforcement is messing with brothers, sisters, cousins, etc. Human nature takes over naturally the gov't and LE becomes the enemy of people on BOTH sides of the border. Unless you fully militarize sections of the border there is no way to stop human nature, fences will be cut down, walls pulled down by trucks with winches. It would likely to be cheaper to roll out pallets stacked with dollar bills. At least then the local economies will boom for a short time.

Large physical barriers, as Trump's proposed 30' spite fence would certainly be, do affect and damage the cultures and diminish the quality of life in these sister communities on both sides of the border, which are typically friendly and interdependent. Economies take bad hits and painful adjustments, property values in some unfortunate neighborhoods can be devastated, and whole communities risk decline.
