We will get through this and ultimately Virginia's Democratic Party leaders and their constituents will decide how this goes.

However, I think we've been provided a big heads up for 2020: whatever is lurking out there on our candidates will be exposed and weaponized to its fullest extent. We're seeing this same thing going on with Elizabeth Warren and her DNA fallout. Candidates for 2020 need to get out front of any potential problem/negative behavior and/or stupid decisions from the past. Because one way or the other those 'secrets' will used like a spiked club.

It's going to be nasty.
