Bill Maher talked about it in his New Rules segment last night. The article is still avail online. The best quote, which Maher recited last night:
The GOP has become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.

The article is really good. Nothing new or shocking but puts the pieces together well. Gingrich, Norquist, and the GOP destruction (or attempt to destroy) the Obama administration. Take a look. It's short.
And Bill's show last night was great. He had that asshole Jack Kingston on but Bill and Malcom Nance got him pretty good.
(I know some of you don't like it when Bill or anyone has Republicans on. I like it for the contrast they show with the thinking Dems provided the host doesn't let them run the show. Which Bill did not last night.)

(15,412 posts)signed up when I still had a .gov email. I know an honest person would pay up since I retired over a year ago but I support other firewalled papers that I wouldn't otherwise. At least that's how I relieve my conscience.
I wonder if it will let you through since the article is from before they started the firewall? Maybe google it and see what happens.
