I skip all the "Dems are in chaos for 2020" headlines

Im tired of the smirks at the number of candidates, as if it reflects a state of insanity. I have enough of my own anxiety around 2020 without gathering in more. But I am genuinely interested in watching the dynamics and seeing who emerges. The person who pops up out of that crowded field will have been really well hardened by fire and will be good at combatting the Republicans. I can’t predict who that will be. I lean pretty far left, but I genuinely want to see who can galvanize the most people. That goes way beyond the election and into enacting their agenda.

I think we will know pretty much who the Democratic nominee will be by then

in the Democratic party. Not just in potential presidential candidates, but congressional candidates, governors, mayors, local governments, etc. So many dynamic people and that is why we are getting a lot of negative headlines.

The opposition knows it is in trouble and they will pull out every dirty trick in the book. We need to remain calm and rational. We have all the advantages on our side, but republicans will not accept defeat without a bloody battle. They want us to repeat their stupid attacks and then fight among ourselves. We should all know better by now.

and let's face it, a lot of media-hyped "scandals" are going to flow under the bridge before November 2, 2020. Plus, the Republicans seem to have passed a "no turning back" point in their betrayal of the electorate, and future will be decided by the size of the turnout against them versus the successes of their election thefts.

If Dump is still around in 2020, his rabid weasel base will be around 10%. The populace will have several terrific Democratic candidates to choose from, especially compared to that ancient, bloated cadaver that they'll have to drag to the debate stage and manipulate like a marionette.
