A six-year-old boy has reportedly been beheaded in Saudi Arabia after his attackers discovered he was a different sect of Islam to them. The shocking incident is said to have been carried out with a broken bottle in front of his horrified mother as they visited a shrine of Prophet Muhammad in Medina. Witnesses said that the little boy – named locally as Zakaria al-Jaber- and his mother arrived at the site in a taxi and were approached and asked if they were Shia Muslim, to which they replied: ‘Yes’.
