Could some of trump*'s vile animosity towards Native Americans be 'casino' related?

Maybe not even on a conscious level, but could he just be venting some sort of misplaced childish jealousy at his being a massive failure, on the casino scene, when many Native American ones are prospering? Admittedly, I don't really have a big base of knowledge on the average casino prosperity, but I know the Saginaw Chippewa's casino in Mt. Pleasant, MI (Soaring Eagle) seems to be thriving, big time.

Or, is this just conjecture formed by me having one too many glasses of Chardonnay.

If you read this entire story. (at link above about Trump's testimony in 1993) you will see Trump's attitude toward Native Americans totally. Representative George Miller does a good job of getting Trump to expose his attitude clear and plain for everyone to see..

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Trump in 1993, testifying in front of Native American affairs committee: "They don't look Indian" #inners https://t.co/A8xl9D5rgf

— All In w/Chris Hayes (@allinwithchris) July 1, 2016

As is often the case, the video adds a lot more context -- and, in this case, more content. We've transcribed the exchange, because the resonance with the 2016 campaign extends far beyond the "look like Indians" line.

REP. GEORGE MILLER (D-CALIF): Is this you, discussing Indian blood: "We're going to judge people by whether they have Indian blood whether they're qualified to run a casino or not?"

TRUMP: That probably is me, absolutely. Because I'll tell you what. If you look, if you look at some of the reservations that you've approved, that you, sir, in your great wisdom have approved, I will tell you right now -- they don't look like Indians to me. And they don't look like the Indians ... Now, maybe we say politically correct or not politically correct, they don't look like Indians to me, and they don't look like Indians to Indians.

And a lot of people are laughing at it. And you're telling me how tough it is and how rough it is to get approved. Well, you go up to Connecticut and you look. Now, they don't look like Indians to me, sir.

MILLER: Thank God that's not the test of whether or not people have rights in this country or not -- whether or not they pass your "look" test.

There was also a documentary (1991?) about his use of undocumented Polish workers and not paying them what they were owed.

The media could have informed the oublic of just who and what they were voting for, but they refused. Why?

Those of us who read knew he was a despicable man, but the media actually helped to cover up his despicableness!

Sheldon Adelson and Sands Corp. And that dislike of Indian Casino Gaming goes back decades. Trump Casino's in Jersey came directly from the Native Casino's in near by Pennsey and Mass. That an total mismanagement,or as we now know, money laundering, and we are seeing Turmp's projection on his perceived enemies.

Adelson's Lawyers and Proxies have raised holy hell on the Native Gaming Communities since the early eighties . Watched this play out in real time in my Hometown.

The Vegas Boys had the smallest Super Bowl Handel in many years this year. And the online was to be run by these same Books only out of Vegas.

Adelson is using Trump to garner his way into Japan and Other Pacific Island Nations. One of our Independent News blogs have claimed he is carrying Trump's wish to own a Casino License in Southeast Asia. China or Japan?

18. He and Roger Stone schemed to help his casino company with anti-Indian ad campaign in 2000
Sun Feb 10, 2019, 03:40 PM
Feb 2019

In 2000, when New York was considering expanding Native American casinos in the Catskill Mountains, a series of TV, newspaper and radio ads popped up in the state accusing the Mohawk Indian tribe of having long criminal records and ties to the mob. The ads showed pictures of cocaine lines and syringes and asked: “Are these the new neighbors we want?”

As far as the public knew, the ads were sponsored by a newly formed group called the Institute for Law and Safety. The group claimed that it was funded by 12,000 “grass-roots, pro-family” donors.

But in reality, it was bankrolled by Trump’s casino company. Stone asked a friend to pose as the group’s leader, but Stone designed the ads and Trump signed off on them. “Roger, this could be good!” Trump scrawled on a proof of the ad with the cocaine lines and syringes, according to documents first reported last month by the Los Angeles Times. Another ad warned of the ills that casino gambling would bring to the community: “increased crime, broken families, bankruptcies, and in the case of the Mohawks, violence.” Trump paid more than $1 million for the campaign.

Trump and Stone never reported the ad spending as a lobbying effort, as state law required, and acknowledged their role only after regulators launched an investigation. In a deposition, Stone told regulators that the only reason the organization was set up was to hide Trump’s involvement because a “pro-family” group would have more credibility with the public. The state lobbying commission imposed its largest-ever civil penalty — a $250,000 fine — and Trump and his associates agreed to issue a public apology.
