Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar embodies the worst traits of politicians. Shes not a billionaire. She doesnt sleep with porn stars. She appears to tell the truth most of the time. And she seems to understand basic economics. It would be impossible to make America great again with a leader like that. The Senator is announcing her candidacy for the Presidency this weekend and it appeared she had a clear path to victory before a few brave and intrepid journalists uncovered some truly horrific details about Klobuchar that will hopefully derail her campaign. Apparently her atrocious behavior includes such horrific things as:
Especially while in the car during a busy day: if she is EXTREMELY upset about something, let her rant through it, DONT interupt [sic] her unless ABSOLUTELY necessary and be careful when trying to calm her down, the memo reads. Often she just needs to talk things out in the open and is not interested in other peoples opinions―this is something that you will become used to and adjust to―its just a note for the first time this happens.
*Shudder* Just imagine an elected official who, when upset, actually expresses her frustration in private instead of tweeting about it to tens of millions of people? My God, how are we supposed to keep our allies in fear and Fox and Friends hosts armed with new material if our leaders begin expressing their emotions and anger privately?

(365 posts)Mistreatment of staff looks like it has been a problem for quite a long time, since she was attorney.
This would not be ok if it was a republican and cannot tolerate it for Democratic nomination..

(3,728 posts)I agree with you wholeheartedly.
don't get me wrong, I have lived here for many years and very much like it. Good people generally, and for the most part, well informed voters in a liberal state. But the "Minnesota Nice" label is something they bestowed upon themselves, repeat it ad nauseum, and thus force themselves to believe it.

(22,355 posts)steel, but people who like her because they see her as a motherly or girl-next-door figure are missing who she is. She is savvy, calculating and can be ice cold. These are things we admire in male leaders, but not necessarily women.
