Morning Joe played a 2014 clip with Pence "urging" Obama to work with the "newly minted Republican congress" to find common ground and not circumvent them with executive actions.

She's a moderate, from what I can tell, like many Democrats. Her background, though, is as a lifelong Democrat. Her father worked in the LBJ and Carter administrations, a highly respected foreign policy expert.

Mika and Joe did nothing to enable the Trump election. In fact, in 2016 they were one of the highest-profile, highly-watched anti-Trump shows in the country. If you watched the show regularly, you'd know that.

Before then, no one thought he'd really win the nomination....except Joe did seem to realize that Trump might win the nomination, unlike many others. Joe was establishment Republican who supported Jeb Bush, but as a Republican, he could see what was happening.

When you watch Mika, you are watching a fairly typical Democrat on the issues.

If you watched the show regularly, you'd understand it. They had all the presidential candidates on, if they wanted to appear. It wasn't a political talk show where they would be hostile to their guests. They'd have a candidate on, ask questions (including some hard questions), but their job was not to argue with them. That changed when Trump got the nomination. They no longer had him on, and took an anti-Trump position.

You should send an email and thank them. They had a lot to do with letting the general public know what Trump was about. Millions watch their morning show who do not watch evening political talk shows.

22. Those are just facts. Joe did see some things that Democrats didn't see.

As an establishment Republican, he did see some things that the public at large didn't see. He supported Jeb Bush, but acknowledged along the way that Trump could win the nomination, when it got closer to the primary. And he was right.

They are not a partisan show like the late night talk shows. They don't present one viewpoint, and that can be tough to watch. But it's important to hear it.

I have watched the show almost every day since it started. I know the positions of both of them very well. I know the show very well. I used to keep it on while getting dressed for work every day. Many people see it occasionally or have seen clips, which doesn't present a complete picture. It would be like the only impression of Rachel's show is to watch a few clips. I saw one show where she actually got some facts wrong. That's unusual for her, for if someone saw that one show, they would not have had a good impression of it. I love the Maddow show, and I watch it regularly, so I know what she and her show are like because of that. She's the best at getting facts right and putting them all together and presenting them in a simplified manner.

I don't like Mika personally. But to say she's a Republican shill is just flat wrong. She is a moderate Democrat, and that is a fact.

I've watched the show almost every day since it began. I know a lot of about the show and both of them.

Mika is a moderate Democratic morning political talk show. She is the second banana. Joe, whose show it was from the start, was establishment Republican. They have both Democrats and Republicans on their show. It can be hard to watch for those who are used to watching only one viewpoint, whether Democratic or Republican. That's not what their show is.

Mika's father served in Carter's administration. Mika has said nothing but nice things about Carter. As you know, Republicans hate Carter. Her father also served as an advisor to LBJ.

Joe is a typical establishment Republican. He shows respect both to Republicans and to Democrats who appear on his show, and genuinely likes many Democrats. Obviously, since he married one.

They were both against Trump for President, although Joe was more likely to admit that Trump had more of a chance than many thought.
