Much of the border land in Texas is privately owned; Texas won't be GOP for much longer if Trump's gummint starts trying to take that land. And it will be in court for years.

Let me correct myself, IDIOT FUCKING REPUBLICANS WON'T CHANGE!

Now the ones that are directly impacted, that is, their land is being seized, will change. But, their fucking repuke neighbor won't!

in 2020. I guarantee you.

We tend to give these people too much credit. Look at the farmers who have gone bankrupt. They are devastated but most say they would vote for trump again.

Texas will turn blue one day because of blue voters migration, not because the natives get tired of the KGOP.

Or at least planning to. No doubt many of them froth at he mouth about getting their wall, but will not like it on land that is heirs

My (very incomplete/imperfect) understanding is that the case law is on the side of the landowners, but if the cases can make it to SCOTUS before the end of Trump's term, anything could happen. This incarnation of SCOTUS isn't shy about gutting precedent.
