(38,436 posts)This isn't the last, and sadly, probably not the worst. But the truth is the Trump and the Republican Party don't give a damn about these deaths. They have never cared..(as long as the deaths are not theirs)
..It will happen again, and again...I thought that after Columbine, it would stop, but it didn't. And it won't.
I need to add a very short story. 6 or 7 years ago, I went to visit a friend who worked in a high school in Chicago. He taught at a Chicago Public High School in a good neighborhood. As I walked in, everyone was searched and all students walked through metal detectors. that is the story, I repeat one word.. all.......

The mother of the gunman who shot up an Aurora factory Friday killing multiple people and injuring five cops said her son had been laid off recently and was stressed out before the incident.
The woman, who met with Aurora police Friday evening, identified her son to the Sun-Times as Gary Martin. Authorities said Martin, 45, was killed by police in the incident.
He was way too stressed out, said the woman, who declined to give her name before embracing relatives outside the Aurora police station and leaving Friday evening.

(638 posts)You just get numb to this never-ending gun violence. There's just thoughts and prayers that the Republicans will give so no one knows who will be next. It's a damn shame.
