They just haven't arrived yet. I believe in the truth of karma. Beneficial thoughts and actions eventually have beneficial results. Harmful thoughts and actions have unhappy results. Karma is just like gravity. It never stops working. Karma is like water that flows down from the mountains to the ocean. Over time, it erodes the mountains and carves canyons.

We just have to be patient. Patience is a virtue.
