I can see a scenario where SCOTUS understands the importance of a unanimous decision on this issue rules 9-0 just as they did with Brown v Board. Yes, the President has the authority to declare a National Emergency, BUT he just can't make one up.

(I know, I know, too many adult drinks for me tonight, but still........)

That's if we're lucky.

You can count on Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh to genuflect to whatever Trump wants, Constitution be damned. May those four rot in the bowels of Hell.
