Angela Merkel, not known for her humor, cracks up her audience--by quoting Trump, of course

Trump wants to impose huge import tariffs on German cars again--for reasons of national security.

Merkel was addressing this latest development to some large group here in Germany. I don't recall who--I heard it on the radio news. Maybe to the thing that Pence is now attending in München?

She noted that the largest BMW factory facility in the world was in South Carolina, so she wasn't too sure how he was going to shore up US national security by imposing tariffs on cars already built in the USA.
