A right winger will be making the suggestion it is Obama running the nasty campaign. I've got good examples of nasty Romney campaign tactics, but I found my fellow DUers always have excellent help to give. Any help with examples of nasty Romney campaign tactics will be greatly appreciated. Plus, it might be useful to discuss and list them here for future reference anyway.
Thanks in advance.

(8,084 posts)Don't let them throw out Super Package attacks, as if the Presidents campaign approved them. ie the super commercial that blames Romney for a wife's death. The President stated in a press conference that was not a commercial he approved.
Conversely Mitts Campaign ads that push the lie about The President removing the work requirement from Welfare has been debonked by several Right Wing sources and Journalist including just recently J. Scar.
Mitt is the one taking the president words out of context ie "you didn't build that" if that is brought be prepared to read the entire quote.
OK I hope that helps you a little, Break a leg!

(21,716 posts)The main difference is that Obama is telling the truth. Romney/Ryan are lying constantly. Watch the Big Ed piece tonight on Medicare, it is in the video section.

I sought to destroy the myth that President Obama cannot run on his record and also focused attention on Romney's record in Massachusetts. I dont want to give too much away, but I faced off against two Romney supporters and again, I think you will all appreciate the results.

Holding fundraisers with carnival barking birthers (ie Donald Trump). (Please oh please say "carnival barking birther" on TV, I'll give you a dollar)
The most important part of this is Mitt Romney has spent the better part of 2 years attacking President Obama relentlessly while President Obama let him and the other Republicans have at it until they were done with their election. During that time, Mitt Romney made every wild accusation in the book, calling the President "feckless" and "lousy". Now that the President is fighting back, they cry about it. You didn't hear President Obama crying about Mitt for the past few years. I think it shows just how thin skinned Mitt Romney and his campaign actually is. In contrast, it also illustrates just how thick skinned Barack Obama is (as if he hadn't proved that already a long time ago). Its another example of why Barack Obama is more fit to be a world leader than Mitt Romney. If he loses his composure so drastically over a few months of President Obama fighting back (in a fight that Mitt started), then how in the hell is he going to be able to deal with national and global problems? He obviously doesn't have a very healthy ego and thats a disqualifier in my book.
