A question about pro-contraception and pro-choice actions between now and Nov. 6th

Aloha,

I think that young people can't fathom the possibility of illegal contraception, and it really looks like that

is one intention of the far right, based on their work in recent legislative sessions.

If women and men around the country hosted intergenerational conversations in their communities about

what life was like when contraception was illegal,

what life was like when abortion was illegal,

what life was like for mothers of children who couldn't provide for their kids,

what life was like for men who love the women who died from backalley abortions,

and the other stories we have to tell, I really think we could turn the tides permanently and fairly soon.

DU, should we have a new activist group, or post in health (pro-choice)?

The meetings would need ground rules for behavior and a moderator or two,

be free and held where young women of voting age could gather, men too.

If you haven't seen this clip from Rachel Maddow tonight, please do watch.

It is stunning. They can not be allowed to prevail.
