House prices have come down a little bit here in Vancouver over their height a year or two ago but only about 10% or less. Unlike in the US the housing bubble here locally is spurred on more by rich immigrants moving here from overseas so we didn't see the housing crash you guys saw south of the border. Though my guess is that prices will go down a fair amount of the global economy continues to tank.
Anyway how to these prices compare to where you live?

And we never had sky high unemployment either. It's currently around 4.6%.

(6,335 posts)I love Vancouver. It's inner city is extremely vibrant and beautiful. All Canadians have free health care. High cost of living is the cost.
