Where does this crazy shit stop? They are giving more and more rights and deference to the fetus. Logically we should just put pregnant women in internment camps for the duration of their pregnancy to insure that the fetus is safe and properly cared for.
Of course, once it is born it can starve to death for all they care.

(9,118 posts)I suspect that the next big idea that anti-abortion fanatics will spring are pregnancy tests for women traveling abroad. After all, they don't want women to dodge abortion restrictions by going abroad, do they? Their legislation (or regulation) would require women to get tested BEFORE they go abroad and then AFTER they return. If they don't come back to the US with a pregnancy-positive test or a little baby in arms, they'll be subject to arrest and prosecution for having an illegal abortion abroad.

There was great shame and scorn dealt from society toward these women.
I won't "go back" to that time. I have grand-daughters who do not deserve this.
