The Orlando Sentinel will temporarily suspend its online paywall. Please rec.

Please rec and bump up for Central Floridians. God knows we need all the help we can get.

ORLANDO — The Orlando Sentinel will temporarily suspend its online paywall, giving users unrestricted access to news stories and other online information as Hurricane Issac nears Florida.

Newspaper executives made the decision to ensure that Central Florida residents can easily access the staff's reporting and stories as the storm approaches the state even if they do not have an online subscription to OrlandoSentinel.com.

Note to lurking Republicans/Conservatives: See? With a little effort, you can do the right thing and attract business to your firm at the same time.

live near there. I really want them to be safe. This yankee 'sister-in-love' worries about them, they have been very kind and welcoming to me/us.....even the RW sister and brother in law. (mind boggling I know).

Unless their writers and editors are working for free, or you definitively know that they're covering all their expenses with advertising, why not pay for the content you're consuming?

If I had a subscription, too many papers will pile up, then I would have to put them in recycling bin, and theyre heavy

I only buy a newspaper once in a while :p
