E.g., rump lawyers distorted the facts in some filings.

Tax filings...ohhhh, the states and the US Treasury should start looking more closely at these returns.

Stone and the release of HRC/etc. emails...conflict of claims here, especially by Stone.

Etc.

Just enough to get started and start really digging into the mud...

He was watching the same hearing as me?
Elijah Cummings set the tone, and the agenda, early on, when he shut down Jordan's ridiculous motion about the "late" submission of evidence.
The increasing decibels and speaking speed of each successive Republican's questioning, plus their identically tiresome message questioning Cohen's reliability confirmed for me the emptiness and desperation of their message.

Just based on checking the related threads on a few sports sites. They think Cohen didn't tell the truth today on a couple of points like whether he wanted to work in the White House, and that will be highlighted on Fox News to discredit the whole thing.

I don't doubt it will play out that way. It simply isn't the same world. My Republican aunt called an hour ago and wanted me to help her with something at her house today. When I told her I was busy watching the Cohen hearing she said he's a liar so she hasn't watched any of it.

Keeping independents on our side is key. This will help in that regard.

I'm just watching the hearing and will make my own assessment about how the parties are succeeding in their efforts.

Regarding the Republican input - So far I didn't see them spending time refuting what Cohen asserted so far.

If Trump or his campaign did engage in a conspiracy to steal /influence the 2016 Election, would that be grounds for impeachment or would it even matter to them.

At this point, if they get away with this the Russians will be assassinating us next.
