Trump is just a symptom of corrupted, broken systems

Last edited Tue Mar 5, 2019, 01:09 PM - Edit history (1)

The media wants you to believe that it's all Trump and just Trump. However, the real problem is the litany of corrupted systems from our tax code that allowed his father to gift him millions of dollars by the age of 8, to our education system that admitted him to U Penn when he clearly was not qualified, to the banks that allowed him to operate when he was bankrupt, to the TV networks that boosted his fiction with "The Apprentice", to the Republican party that threw away their integrity, and to the national political media that gave him free air time.

ALL of these systems enabled Trump to be where he is today. Trump is not nearly smart enough nor hard working enough to get where he his on his own. This is why defeating him while leaving these systems in place is pointless. Why? Because these systems can, and will, create another Trump, possibly, an even worse Trump on many levels.

The future of the Democratic party has to be fighting to bring down and change these systems, not just defeating Trump.

The end of the Roman Republic was 100 years in the making. At they end they thought the problem was Julius Caesar, so they killed him, imagining they were restoring the Republic. But really, they were putting the final nail in the coffin.

Republicans agree with his policies.

Trump is the visible symptom of the cancer conservatism has become. Trump says horrible things publicly that republicans believe but try to keep behind closed doors.
