In my humble opinion, I wished that the Dems would have waited until after the Mueller report before conducting other committee investigations. As much as I want Trump investigated to the max, I don't want the Dems to appear to overreach.

(2,404 posts)Let's uh....keep following the rules while the gop eats our lunch eh? I think they need to double down and hard. They count on us following perfect procedure...so they can plan their cheating, and win the game. Fuck that.

(25,485 posts)After Benghazi and the uranium nonsense, I don't really care if anyone thinks the Dems are overreaching. At least our investigations are valid and legitimate.
I also think it's going to be a long, long process so starting it now is probably a good idea. The public will also get a view into the Trump admin that they wouldn't get if the Mueller report is buried.
We won't see the Mueller Report. It's been a waste of time waiting on it.

(5,271 posts)Dems have a tremendous amount of catch-up to do because in many cases, their committees had received troubling information and potentially incriminating pieces evidence of wrongdoing by Trump Admin. (including several other matters besides just the Trump/Russia campaign conspiracy) but the Repubs in charge refused to move forward to obtain any additional evidence.

(31,261 posts)I don't agree with your assessment. Unlike me when I try to ski, House democrats are on firm footing. It is their job to probe for the truth, given that republicans spent two years crassly blocking such an effort.
