Tulsa City bailiff tells breast feeding mother to feed infant in bathroom.

TULSA, Oklahoma - The City of Tulsa says they are dealing with a personnel issue after a woman witnessed a bailiff telling a mother she needed to go to the bathroom to breastfeed her child.

“He came out and he saw her feeding her child and he rudely and very harshly told her you need to go to the bathroom to do that,” said Bannon.

“It felt like it was disrespectful to women’s rights honestly,” said Bannon. “I feel like people have fought really hard for women’s rights and for him to just spit on them like that, it was a slap in the

“It’s not a protest, it’s just to educate everybody that it is legal and there is no reason that anyone should be shamed for feeding their child,” said Bannon.

1. My father told me that public breastfeeding was common 100 years ago.

It was necessary to keep small infants alive. Every civilized person just did his/her best to ignore it. Of course, the mothers tried hard to be discreet. It is still much better for infants than any formula under almost all circumstances. And sometimes it is the only way to keep an infant alive even today. That is why we have these laws.

5. Americans ALL have to get over their repressed attitude on anything involving "sex"!

Remember the hissy-fit that they threw when a breast was shown on TV during half-time at the Super Bowl? My son lived in
Sicily, and when friends/relatives came to visit, he had to warn them about the topless beaches, even the fun parks (like Six Flags) the women were free to be topless. As a Country, we all need to grow up!

Some people don't want to "Desexualize" the breasts. It offends them when they see them being used in their natural purpose. To feed a child. It's jarring and shocking, and some people might find that ugly bc they want it to be a tantalizing sexual thing. (Which, if true, tells you all you need to know about those people.)

10. I incurred this treatment in the UK when feeding my son

..back in the late 80s. The UK! And from the men there more so than the women. Yes, I always covered myself and my son but it didn't matter. It must've somehow aroused repressed feelings in these men.

Anyway, it made me very angry. 😠
