For 15 years!!!! I’ve read here everyday. I’ve learned everything I need to know! I’ve survived everyone from Glenn Beck to David Vitter!
I’m going to celebrate tomorrow with a very special D.U. friend...who introduced me to D.U.
He’ s made me suffer with him through tea party rallies to to every political show ever made available! Thank God for D.U. for my sanity!

though I started reading in 2002 or 2003. I get a lot of my news and politics from DU and it helped me maintain my sanity throughout the Bush years. Now it is getting me through the even worse Trump era.

I met quite a few good friends here as well and most of them are still my friends!

I was a lurker for a long time here. I was amazed at how knowledgeable the posters here are. I blogged on a local right wing web site in central Pa. until I got booted off about a year ago. There were about 4 or 5 of us on the entire site who were liberals. I didn't do anything disrespectful, or curse or swear. I did things like call Trump a Putin puppet and a con man. I talked back to the site owner is why I got canned.

Samplegirl have one tomorrow on me. DU also helped me keep my sanity. It is tough living among them in central Pa., I hold my own, I learned one can't debate with them, they are zombies, I choose to throw zingers at them.

I came here in 2001 after the *co coup when I was so distraught and I tried several times to leave the country; but my beloved has insisted we stay. I keep remembering the Holocaust and how the people who saw clearly left in time and the rest...well the rest is history..
