A Friendly Heads-Up to Trump Supporters
The decent people in our country outnumber those of you who think Trump’s indecency is something to be praised.
The truth-seekers outnumber those of you who are willing to swallow lies.
Those of us who base our opinion on facts outnumber those who are willing to ignore the facts.
Those of us who recognize a con-man outnumber those too stupid to see the obvious.
Those of us who know that taking children from their parents and locking them in cages is morally wrong outnumber those of you who think black and brown children should be treated like criminals.
Those of us who believe a US president colluding with our enemies is a threat to national security outnumber those who are willing to look the other way.
Those of us who think strengthening our bonds with our allies is in our best interest outnumber those who think insulting those allies is a sign of strength.
Those of us who know that know immigrants are the backbone of our nation outnumber those who have been convinced they’re a threat.
Those of us who inform ourselves outnumber those who believe whatever FOX-News tells them to believe.
Those of us who adhere to our religious principles outnumber those who have abandoned theirs in order to support a lying, pussy-grabbing adulterer who consistently “bears false witness” against his perceived enemies.
Those of us who believe in the Constitution and the rule of law outnumber those who support a “pResident” who ignores both.
Those of us who believe that a united country is a strong country outnumber those who believe that dividing us is something to be applauded.
Those of us who acknowledge that the truth is what makes us free outnumber those who think the truth should be quashed when politically convenient.
Those of us who have watched hate crimes rise during Trump’s administration outnumber those who insist that the crimes attributable to his rhetoric simply never happened.
Face it, Trumpsters – not only are you outnumbered, you have consistently been outwitted, outplayed, and outlasted by those of us who refuse to drink the kool-aid. You have been bested by the people you have sought to diminish, and you have been exposed as being too stupid to see just how easily manipulated you are.
As the old adage goes, there are none so blind as they who will not see. And you who refuse to see the obvious are outnumbered by those who plainly see the truth you have deliberately blinded yourselves to for far too long.
WE are the majority – YOU are the pitiable minority who have deluded yourselves into believing your voices are heard beyond the echo chamber you have chosen to hide in, your last pathetic defence against the reality that threatens to obliterate you and the “pResident” you are determined to defend to the last.
