"If you are vaccinated, God won't hear your prayers!"
I describe people like this as having been hit in the head too often with a big family Bible.
Aborted Cells in Vaccines May Have Blocked Anti-Choice Prayers, Says IFA
Recent measles outbreaks have had public officials in some states thinking about limiting non-medical exemptions from vaccine requirements in order to boost sagging vaccination rates, but at the same time, some anti-abortion activists are encouraging people to view vaccination as participation in evil.
Intercessors for America, for example, has published Immunized Against Effective Prayer, a four-page intelligence report suggesting that decades of prayer to break the curse of abortion may have been ineffective because so many people have been injected with vaccines containing aborted fetal tissue. According to IFAs report, that makes them complicit in abortion, thus disqualifying our spiritual authority in prayer.

(6,831 posts)This bit of theological debate dates back to the time of St. Thomas Aquinas (13th century). I love to pose this to right wing, christianistas. They start to quiver, then mumble, then their eyes dart furtively back and forth, then they just start melting.
"If god can prevent evil, but doesn't, then he isn't all-loving;
If god intends to prevent evil, but cannot, then he isn't omnipotent; and
If god both intends to prevent evil and is capable of doing so, then how can evil exist ?"
