Let's see what the SDNY does with them. Remember, SDNY has jurisdiction over what happens in NYC, which would include the Trump Tower meeting. The fact that Mueller is done doesn't mean the investigations are over. Cohen, Flynn and Gates are still cooperating, and Stone's trial, which will involve Wikileaks, isn't until November. The fat lady is just starting to sing.

First Lady Hillary Clinton was interviewed in the Republican/Starr no limits investigation.

I have hated Republicans since Nixon but I have never hated them more than right now.

If I look up the word hypocrite it should be a one word answer - Republicans.

What is your favorite expression or word to describe them?

She was pretty clear on this. In classic federal RICO and mob investigations, the targets are never interviewed until after arrest and charging.

We'll see.

Frankly, either the system is going to work or it's not going to work. The publicly available evidence is overwhelming and damning. If they successfully bury justice, they (and we) lose the United States. If they can't, we may yet survive.

But I believe Randi's right -- no interview means target.

who said you don't always interview targerts of an investigation when you don't want to tip your hand. This could be the reason Mueller didn't speak to them. (I'm hoping anyway.)

In the meantime, I want to know if the investigation was shut down on Mueller's time table or Barr's. I can't remember who said it on AM Joy today, but it's awfully weird that Barr comes in & in about month Mueller is done.

and spun off as much as possible to other prosecutors to protect the investigation from interference from Trump's stooge Whittaker, who was probably more likely to interfere than Barr, who at least has a reputation to protect. Whittaker had nothing going for him but a marketing plan for manly toilets.

They didn't need too, especially if they were resisting to the point it would be too time consuming to go that route, and that they were going to plead the 5th. They probably had a better chance of convictions going by way of state charges , and where trump couldn't pardon away all their charges. They haven't escaped this. I have faith in how Mueller has handled this. Justice for these people is coming.

If you know that someone will merely perjure themselves, then you have to find the evidence without their words ... because then you have to prove that they are lying before you can prove what you know to be true.

I am certain that mueller has documentary evidence of their malfeasance.

you would interview the people who sat down in a meeting to talk about it before it happened. But two years? And Mueller didn't even interview some of the key people? Come on!
