before party. Not too many of them left. I just don't understand why anyone would think they are patriotic.

3. There's one enormous significant difference

The GOP Senate and party of today is so corrupt, they would not impeach a president guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors unless it was publicly outrageous and flagrant.

In 1974, it was different. As John Dean said yesterday, if Barr was AG during Nixon's years, Nixon would have finished out his term.

...and it's not just the outcome that will be determinate of justice, it's the attention surrounding the race that will put proper focus on revelations from the actual report and pressure those involved.
