Most people can't just call up work with less than 24 hours notice and say they're using vacation days, if they even have any.

Today they should be everywhere demanding a comment directly from Mueller.

Mueller showed up for work today. A House Dem should go down there to talk to him.

They should have issued subpoenas already for the report and to talk to Mueller.

The press has reported Mueller wanted Congress to make the decision, not the DOJ. Every Dem should be on TV talking about that all day.

so it is only prudent that they not blow off too much that might mess things up now.

This is just my opinion but I figure they are meeting together, drawing plans, brainstorming any thing that might have changed and checking all the rules and laws to see that what they do is just right and not easily knocked down. They are being presented as fools by Trump and his pals and the last thing they need is to come out with some easily knocked out lame comment.

I am saying this with a little hope in my heart and guarded thoughts in my head. Having lived through the "keep our powder dry" dems of the recent past I have been encouraged by the outspoken, steel in their hearts and minds Dems of this current House. I am wary but hopeful. I do think they will do everything they possibly can but I do not think we can count on them talking about a lot of it until it is ready, studied and worked over till solid.

JMO with hope.

...opposition to a laughable summary from a handpicked henchman?

We'll rally to Congress. We'll rally behind a legal and political process which is still very much in action and play.
