(65,357 posts)Bozos? Everyone thought it was beneath the dignity of the office for him to stoop to such name calling.
And the expletives in Nixon's Watergate tapes shocked the public, too, even though they were not even uttered in public.
Talk about how Trump has defined deviancy downward!

(32,083 posts)The average depth is around 62 feet, depending on the water levels, which fluctuate. The western basin averages around 25-30 feet, while the remainder is 60-80 feet on average.

(57,083 posts)and Erie is still the shallowest Great Lake. Its still an old age lake and its still trying to devolve into a swamp.
Lake Superior - 489 ft / 149 m average 1,333 ft / 406 m maximum
Lake Michigan - 279 ft / 85 m average 923 ft / 281 m maximum
Lake Huron - 195 ft / 59 m average 750 ft / 229 m maximum
Lake Erie - 62 ft / 19 m average 210 ft / 64 m maximum
Lake Ontario - 283 ft / 86 m average 802 ft / 244 m maximum
From Wiki:
Lake Erie[5] (/ˈɪəri/; French: Lac Érié) is the fourth-largest lake (by surface area) of the five Great Lakes in North America, and the eleventh-largest globally if measured in terms of surface area.[1][6] It is the southernmost, shallowest, and smallest by volume of the Great Lakes[7][8] and therefore also has the shortest average water residence time. At its deepest point Lake Erie is 210 feet (64 metres) deep.
By area Erie is the 11th largest Lake, by depth it isn't in the top 40.

(32,083 posts)It's just not THAT shallow. They would never have all that tanker and cargo traffic on it if it was. They'd bottom out. And, yes. All lakes tend to devolve into wetlands over time.

(32,083 posts)I was just coming here to comment that one could practically wade across Lake Erie, it's so shallow (in comparison to the other Great Lakes, anyway).

People who see someone with dementia don't cheer, they go 'WTF????', but this lot does cheer.
Hmmm . . . like dementia, but contagious? Whatever word describes that best? Delusional? Total voluntary loss of any capacity for intellectual comprehension and logical thinking?
