Trump Jr. Mocks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as Rally Crowd Chants 'AOC Sucks!'

At President Donald Trump‘s rally in Michigan on Thursday, the crowd broke out into a lot of chants. There were classics like “lock her up”, favorites like “four more years”, and the newer “lock them up”, an apparent reference to everyone who ever thought Trump colluded with Russia.

But before the President took the stage, his son, Donald Trump Jr. warmed up the crowd. During those remarks, he laid into Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Democrats in general for being pushed by her to the left.

“Think about the fact that every mainstream, leading Democratic contender is taking the advice of a freshman congresswoman who three weeks ago didn’t know the three branches of government,” he said. “I don’t know about you guys, but that’s pretty scary.”

Trump Jr. paused for a moment for crowd reaction, and eventually a chant of “AOC sucks” broke out, to which he grinned broadly.

The chant continued for a moment as he nodded slightly before saying “you guys, you’re not very nice” in a joking manner. “And neither is what that policy would do to this country.”

It couldn’t have worked out more neatly if it had been planned in advance.

I don’t get this messaging when I hear it here. I don’t think they are scared of anything. First I am not sure they are smart enough to be scared of what they should be. Second, they have a bravado that is unbelievable. They think that they can get away with whatever they want.
