There seems to be little reason to think the political stalemate isn't intractable.

I see a no-deal brexit as more like 95%, followed quickly by much pain, and only then does a British consensus for a deal emerge. They then seek a trade treaty with the eu, with their bargaining position even weaker than it is now.

She will be forced to resign and there will be either a new referendum or a general election.

8. I think "remain" would win in a new referendum, but I don't see that happening.

I don't know enough about what's technically needed to make that happen, but it doesn't seem the political dynamics are allowing that.

If it did, anyone could be a hero and the next pm simply by calling for a new referendum.

Two great democracies put their futures at risk with racially motivated unforced errors.

None of this is going to end well.

It's the year that the unholy quartet of Dugin, Surkov, Gerasimov and Putin screwed the West by screwing with Brexit and Trump.

There will be no more delays given from the EU. It's finished.

This will have global consequences, but instant economic devastation in Great Britain. You're talking about going from 90,000 shipments of goods a day to 3000 the next day. There will be shortages, there will be government rationing, there might be riots. There will be people hoarding and empty shelves at markets.

And there will be violence in Northern Ireland the day they put up a hard barrier at the border.

And the EU... this is unfortunate, but it's in their best interests to punish GB for Brexit, make an example out of them so no other country thinks about leaving the EU.

And this is the end that the Russian forces who pushed Brexit most wanted. A weakened Great Britain and chaos in the Western World that opposes them.
