Until the great purge took place.

One kid got into some trouble when he put an actual 9mm handgun on one, and showed it hovering near a target blasting away. He was well under 18 and he designed and built it himself.

There were all kinds of "almost" lethal projects on youtube. Some dropped fruit about the same size as a grenade. Others had paintball guns.

The message was clear. Technology can kill remotely and it would be hard to stop without sophisticated jamming gear. It reduces killing to a video game, and about as dangerous for the attacker.

are there any laws here about devices that allow remote firing for guns being illegal?
