... this .. number comes from Rasmussen .. a pollster that has consistently shown Trump with higher approval ratings than other polls. How consistently? Well, on 99.6 percent of days when Rasmussen released a daily approval poll number, its value was higher than the RealClearPolitics average of approval polls. An average, mind you, that includes Rasmussens figure.
... But, hey, if Trump finally hit 50 percent in at least one poll, why not celebrate it? Well, for one reason, because he keeps hitting and keeps celebrating that same point ...
... this latest celebratory tweet follows several weeks in which Trump was hyping a 52 percent approval number also from Rasmussen, an outlier ...
... On Friday, his approval in that poll dropped back down to 49 percent ...

... Emerson Polling found that 55 percent of the respondents said they would vote for Biden over Trump. The same percentage said they would vote for Sanders (I-Vt.) over Trump. Meanwhile, the poll found that 45 percent said they would vote for Trump over Biden or Sanders.
Biden has not yet entered the 2020 race but has strongly hinted that he will do so.
The poll also showed that Sens. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), Kamala Harris (Calif.) and former Rep. Beto ORourke (Texas) also would defeat Trump in Pennsylvania, albeit with percentages that fall within the margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points: 52 percent for Warren and 51 percent each for Harris and ORourke ...
