Haters will hate. They will try to call out Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her youth, 'inexperience,' and her unabashed and unapologetic progressivism. But she is from a generation that is not only seen but living through the ills of an economic system that has screwed most if even with the semblance of prosperity for some as a few take most.

The Right is trying to portray Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as dumb. I interviewed her a few months before she won her primary election. I told her then she would win her primary. I found her fast thinking, knowledgeable, and kind. The caricature they are trying to make of her is just that.

The four snippets from the show I discuss in this post is mostly to illustrate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez political savvy as well as her knowledge on the issues given her ability to handle some of the impromptu misdirections. I missed one, however, where she mentioned that one of the aspects of the Green New Deal could be implemented right away by funding coal miners' pensions in West Virginia. It is a personalization that ensures we inform Americans who don't realize it, that they are stakeholders as well.

2. During the actual New Deal, there were many socialist and actual communist.

There was never a danger of the country being taken over by either, but they put us in a direction that led to about 40 years of a good economy.

It wasn’t until Reagan came along that it flipped.

AOC is no threat. We already have that threat now 10 times over.

What we need here in the Democratic Party is more people like her to steer us back to the good days, minus the racism. Republicans were good enough to relieve us of that burden in the sixties.

I look forward to what she says everyday, because she’s right.
